What is cornhole?

Cornhole is a competitive lawn game where players take turns tossing bags toward a raised platform with a hole. Bags on the board score 1 point, and bags through the hole score 3 points. Games are typically played to 21 points using cancellation scoring.

What types of tournaments do you offer?

We offer several popular tournament formats to fit different events and skill levels:

Singles or Doubles
Bring Your Own Partner (BYOP): You choose your teammate and play together for the entire tournament.
Blind Draw: Partners are randomly assigned, making it a fun and social format.
SWAP (Random Partner Every Round): Players receive a new random partner each round.
Bracket Play: Structured single or double-elimination formats, often used for competitive events.

Do I need to bring my own boards or bags?

No. We supply all necessary equipment, including tournament-grade boards and bags. Players are welcome to use their own bags if allowed by the event rules. Bags that are brought must be inspected by Marana Baggers Staff before they may be used on our boards.

How many players can participate?

This depends on the tournament format, number of courts, and event length. A standard setup typically supports up to 40 teams (80 players), but larger events can be accommodated with additional courts and time.

How long does a tournament last?

Most tournaments run 3–4 hours, but length can vary based on the number of players, format, and divisions. We’ll help determine the best setup for your event.

How is scoring tracked?

We use electronic scoring tablets and professional cornhole tournament software to track scores, standings, brackets, and matchups in real time.

Do you manage the tournament or just provide equipment?

We provide full tournament management from start to finish — including setup, player check-in, match scheduling, rule enforcement, and final results.

Is cornhole suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. Cornhole is easy to learn and fun for all skill levels. We can tailor the format to be casual, competitive, or somewhere in between.

Can tournaments be customized?

Yes. Tournaments can be customized based on:

Event type (fundraiser, corporate, league, competitive)
